Western Visayas is one of the regions of the Philippines. It is designated as the Region VI consisting of six provinces namely, Aklan, Antique, Capiz, Iloilo, Guimaras and Negros Occidental.Aklan
Aklan is the Philippines' Oldest Province.Aklan is one of the provinces comprising the island of Panay in Western Visayas. Aklan is subdivided into 17 municipalities. Aklan is located at the northwestern part of Panay Island. It is bounded by the Sulu Sea on the north; the Sibuyan Sea on the east; Antique on the west; and Capiz on the south.
Aklan is famous for its Kalibo Ati-Atihan Festival, and the Boracay Island, famous for its four-kilometer stretch of pure white sand called White Beach.

Antique is the Marble Central Of Panay.Antique is one of the provinces comprising the island of Panay in Western Visayas. Antique is subdivided into 18 municipalities, fourteen are along the coast, three are inland, and one is made up of six small islands. Antique is located at the western portion of Panay island. Antique faces Sulu Sea to the west.
Antique is famous for its Binirayan Festival, Mt. Madia-as, Rafflesia, and Bugang River, the cleanest inland body of water in the Philippines.

Capiz is the Seafood Capital of the Philippines.Capiz is one of the provinces comprising the island of Panay in Western Visayas. Capiz is subdivided into 16 municipalities and 1 city. Capiz is located in the northeastern part of Panay Island. It is bounded by the Sibuyan Sea on the north; Visayan Sea on the east; Aklan on the northwest; Antique on the west; and Iloilo on the south and east.
Capiz is famous for its Sinadya sa Halaran Festival, Capiz shells, and for being the birthplace of the former Philippine President Manuel A. Roxas.

Iloilo is the Heritage Haven Of Panay.Iloilo is one of the provinces comprising the island of Panay in Western Visayas. Iloilo is subdivided into 42 municipalities and 2 cities. Iloilo is located at the southeast portion of Panay island. It is bounded by Guimaras Strait on the south; Panay Gulf and Iloilo Strait on the east; Antique on the west; and Capiz on the north.
Iloilo is famous for its Dinagyang Festival, Lapaz Batchoy, and UP in the Visayas in Miag-ao, a thousand hectare school campus which centers on fisheries.

Guimaras is the Mango Country of the Visayas.Guimaras is subdivided into 5 municipalities. Guimaras is located on the southwest portion of Panay Island and the northwest portion of Negros Island. It is bounded by Iloilo on the north; Negros Occidental on the southeast; and Panay Sea on the south.
Guimaras is home of the famous and the best export-quality mangoes in the Philippines which led to the establishment of the Manggahan Festival.

Negros Occidental is the Sugar Bowl of the Philippines.Negros Occidental is subdivided into 19 municipalities and 13 cities. Negros Occidental has the most number of chartered cities among all the provinces in the Philippines. Negros Occidental is located on the western portion of Negros Island. It is bounded by the Visayan Sea on the north; Negros Oriental and partly by Tañon Strait on the east; Guimaras Strait on the west; and Sulu Sea on the south.
Negros Occidental is famous for its Masskara Festival, Mambukal Mountain Resort, and Sugar Mills and Plantations.
